- Ingest data in Dust via the Connection
- Make it accessible to your users, either as ‘Company Data’ or in a specific space if you want to control permissions
Step 1: Ingesting Data in Dust
Connections are fully managed integrations that are synced automatically. This ensures Dust always has up-to-date information. Connections are managed by workspace admins. They have granular control over what data Dust can access. Eg: which Slack channels, Gdrive folders, Notion pages, etc. If you see something missing in one of the connection, it probably means that it was not added to Dust. Reach out to your workspace admin to make sure the page/channel/folder/etc you want to use are synced to Dust. Note: it usually take a few minutes for an update to appear in Dust.
