Asana MCP update

📌 Context

Asana has shut down their MCP (Model Context Protocol) V1 server and migrated to V2. The old connection will stop working. If your workspace uses the Asana MCP tool in Dust, this is an action required update.

🔄 Impact on Dust

Dust has updated the Asana integration to support the V2 API. The new connection is fully compatible and ready to use.

👤 Impact for you

If your workspace currently uses the Asana MCP tool, the existing connection will break once Asana fully switches off V1. You’ll need to reconnect Asana using the new V2 setup.

✅ Actions required

  1. Go to Spaces → Tools in your Dust workspace
  2. Find the Asana MCP connection
  3. Reconnect it following the updated setup instructions

This only affects workspaces that currently have Asana connected via MCP. If you haven’t set up the Asana integration yet, you can follow the new V2 instructions when you do.
