# How do I change the language in Dust?

Dust supports English (US), English (UK), French, and German for the product interface.

### Choose your personal language

Open **Personal Settings → Customization → Language** and select your preferred language. For the Dust interface, your personal choice takes precedence over the workspace default and applies across your workspaces.

Your personal language may not apply in every context. Shared experiences, such as workspace invitations and integrations, use the workspace default language instead.

### Set a workspace default

Open your **workspace settings**, select a language, and save it. The workspace language is used for members who have not selected a personal language and as the default for shared experiences.

Each member can use a different language by setting a personal preference.
